Westpac – Car Loans Online
This project was about applying for car loans online on secured loans for individuals. The goal was to build and test a prototype with individuals to determine if the form of getting a car loan is usable and there are no aspects which are confusing to a user, and assess if the flow is logical to users.
Prototyping
To prepare for the testing I built an interactive desktop prototype in Axure to test applying for a car loan online. This was to test if the flow was logical for users and if there was any pain points during the process of applying for a car loan online.
System Usability Score (SUS). A post-test SUS questionnaire was completed by all participants to determine their perception of usability
Testing
We tested six participants who were looking at buying a car soon (none that had recently bought), from a dealership, and in various stages of the research process.
Ask participants background contextual questions about their business, then showed them a prototype of the loan application site and had them complete three main tasks:
Apply for loan
Search and add vehicle
Finalise and disburse funds
